World of Photonics Congress: Save the Date for 2019
Please mark your calendar for the 2019 event: The 24th World of Photonics Congress 2019 will take place from 23 to 27 June 2019 in Munich.
This time the Congress combines seven high-profile conferences under one roof:
- CLEO®/Europe-EQEC 2019—organized by European Physical Society (EPS), sponsored by IEEE Photonics Society and the Optical Society (OSA)
The European Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics and the European Quantum Electronics Conference (CLEO®/Europe-EQEC) is the largest, most comprehensive and prestigious gathering of optics and photonics researchers and engineers organized in Europe.
CLEO ® /Europe will showcase the latest developments in a wide range of laser and photonics areas including laser source development, materials, ultrafast science, fiber optics, nonlinear optics, terahertz sources, high-field physics, optical telecommunications, nanophotonics and biophotonics.
EQEC will feature the fundamentals of quantum optics, quantum information, atom optics, ultrafast optics, nonlinear phenomena and self-organization, plasmonics and metamaterials, fundamental nanooptics, theoretical and computational photonics.
- Digital Optical Technologies—organized by SPIE Europe
SPIE Digital Optical Technologies focused on the components, systems design, and applications of emerging digital optical technologies in all social, academic, medical, and industrial areas.
The conference reflects trends in recent technologies such as 3D sensors, immersive multimedia, novel displays, light sources and imaging systems. Digital optical technologies include optics designed by digital means, fabricated by digital means, with functionalities enhanced or altered by digital techniques (computational optics or dynamic optics).
- EOS Optical Technologies—organized by European Optical Society (EOS)
EOS Optical Technologies conferences include: 6th Conference on Manufacturing and Testing of Optical Systems and 5th Conference on Optofluidics.
Advancements in technology and innovative manufacturing processes are crucial for optical sector growth in today's global markets. Markets with high developmental momentum include the energy and semiconductor, life sciences, health care and the agri-food industries. Optical technologies play a crucial role in these markets, the importance of sophisticated but economically priced optical components being vital to new products and applications.
- European Conferences on Biomedical Optics (ECBO) —organized by SPIE, sponsored by the Optical Society (OSA)
ECBO will cover basic science, novel technology and applications in the areas of advanced microscopy, clinical and biomedical spectroscopy, diffuse optical imaging, molecular imaging, optical coherence tomography and other coherence techniques, therapeutic laser applications, laser-tissue interactions, opto-acoustic methods, and other novel biophotonics techniques.
- Imaging and Applied Optics Congress—organized by the Optical Society (OSA)
This new conference provides a comprehensive view of the latest developments in imaging and applied optical sciences, covering the forefront advances in imaging and applied optics as well as the application of these technologies. The scope of the research presented in ranges from
fundamental research to applied.
- LIM 2019: Lasers in Manufacturing—organized by German Scientific Laser Society (WLT)
LiM—Lasers in Manufacturing focuses on the latest developments as well as future trends in the field of laser materials processing. LiM consists of three sub-conferences—one for macro applications, one for micro applications, and one for additive manufacturing.
- Optical Metrology—organized by SPIE Europe
SPIE Optical Metrology will highlight new optical principles and systems
for metrology, videometrics and machine vision with applications in industrial design, production engineering, process monitoring, maintenance support, biotechnology, vehicle navigation, multimedia technology, architecture, archaeology and arts.
The premier European conference to meet with scientists, engineers, researchers, and product developers to discuss the latest research in measurement systems, modeling, videometrics, and inspection.
